- Colleen Cummins is a native Californian born in San Diego. She is a staff photographer at the Appeal-Democrat in Marysville, Calif. Has a BA in Journalism from San Francisco State University. Where she was a multimedia producer as well as multimedia photo editor for SF State’s online publication [X]press. She is a Chips Quinn Scholar and interned for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel in the summer of 2007 as a staff photographer and the Palo Alto Weekly in the fall of 2008.
